Le Valrose is located in the canton of Vaud, in Rougemont, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, at the gates to Saanen and Gstaad. The Michelin Guide awards Benoît Carcenat with a second star
It is with a great emotion that, the chef of La Table du Valrose, Benoît Carcenat, received his second Michelin star on October 2, 2023. During the ceremony at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the chef was awarded with a prestigious distinction just one year after being included in the renowned Michelin Guide.

La Table du Valrose wine list wins gold medal at Swiss Wine Award 2023!
As part of the Swiss Wine List Award, the Swiss Association of Professional Sommeliers - with the support of "Vinum" magazine - awarded the highest distinction, a gold medal in the "Gourmet & Étoilés" category, to the wine list of the Hotel-Restaurant Valrose.
Cuisinier d'Or 2023: Shaun Rollier is the winner of the highly coveted trophy!
Shaun Rollier, Chef de partie at the Valrose Hotel-Restaurant, won the highly coveted title of "Cuisinier d'Or 2023" thanks to his culinary creations.
In the final, held on June 5, 2023, Shaun emerged victorious against four other candidates after five and a half hours of preparing a fish dish and a meat dish, in front of a high-level jury.

The restaurant La Table du Valrose by Benoît Carcenat, MOF and Gault&Millau’s Best Chef of the Year 2023, has made an outstanding entry in the Top 200 of the international ranking of the best gastronomic restaurants La Liste 2023. The List inventories the one thousand best restaurants in the world by combining the scores of guides, online reviews and press publications around the world. La Table du Valrose is ranked 118th worldwide and 5th in Switzerland with a score of 96 points. A magnificent recognition for the Chef and the entire Valrose team.

Gault&Millau: Benoît Carcenat awarded Chef of the Year 2023 and 18 points for La Table du Valrose. Michelin: a first star.
On Monday 7 November 2022, the emotion was intense at the Valrose. The Haute Gastronomie of Switzerland was invited to the press conference for the announcement of the 2023 winners of the Gault&Millau Swiss edition. A unique moment for the Valrose team who attended the success of their chef. Benoît Carcenat, receive the title of Chef of the Year 2023, the highest Gault&Millau distinction.
The restaurant La Table du Valrose also received 18 points in the famous gastronomic guide after being awarded of a first star by the Michelin Guide at the national ceremony held on 17 October at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
Just one year after Benoît Carcenat and his wife Sabine took over the helm/management of the Valrose, these awards are a real achievement and recognition of the exceptional work of the passionate team that works alongside them every day, including Mathieu Quetglas, Sommelier of the Year 2022, Victor Moriez, Chef de Cuisine and Josselin Jacquet, Chef Pâtissier.
